Watch the children in action at the Young Voices concert which took place in February 2018. Looks like the staff were also joining in the fun! Well done to all involved!
The children have really enjoyed using the Mathletics online learning resource - click here to access the login page.
THE MAYOR TAKES ON RHJ MATHEMATICIANS!
Following our success in the Mathletics Challenge (third in the world!) we were visited last week by the Mayor of Sutton, Richard Clifton and Deputy Mayoress, Pauline Cook, who of course many of you will know as the former head of RHI. They were here for much of the morning – the Mayor took on some pupils (Rohan, Rohal, Sheharyar and Jenna) in a maths quiz (Y4&5 won!); they visited classes and joined in lessons and attended assembly to see certificates awarded and hear the successes of the week. We are waiting for the press office to send us some pictures and maybe even a clip of the quiz so we will let you know when they are on the website. Many thanks again to Mr Kench and to all the children who contributed to the visit and the Mathletics success.
This site has some great resources for home learning including times tables games and e-books to read. Click on this link to go to the website.
Over the last term, years 3-5 have been enjoying learning Spanish and are doing very well at it! We have been learning about greetings,
expressing feelings, numbers and how to use this information in a conversation! It would be wonderful if you could take some time to practise what we have learnt so far. iMuchas gracias!
