Local History Project

Parents have received an email about taking part in a project in Sutton to record children's experiences of this remarkable time. There are some resources from the local Library service here:

We are still so pleased that Robin Hood Junior School pupils are taking part in our 'Locals Diaries' project!

Here are some  Home Learning Activity booklets that we have produced. We have dug down deep into our archives to uncover photographs, collection items and stories that your pupils might not know and will give them an insight into the history of the place they live. We have currently produced booklets for Cheam, Carshalton and Sutton and are in the process of producing one for Wallington and Beddington. We also plan to produce a special World War Two themed booklet to be released to commemorate the anniversary of VE day on 8th May.

All of our booklets are completely free to download and use and we would be delighted to hear if you are able to use them.

Our booklets can be accessed at this site:
