BBC RADIO 2 500 WORDS COMPETITION 2020

500 Words is the UK’s most successful short story-writing competition for children between the ages of 5 and 13.  Since the competition launched 934,296 stories have been entered. 2019 attracted over 110,000 entries.

This year, Robin Hood Junior School would like to encourage as many children as possible to take part.
All the children have to do is write an original story, no more than 500 words in length, and share it with their class teacher via their school Google Drive account. We will then upload all entries to the competition website where they will be judged anonymously.

It can be about ANYTHING they want – space-ships, grannies, insects, time travel. The list is endless!

The closing date for entries is Thursday Feb 27th so let's get those stories submitted!!

Good luck to everyone entering!
