Google Meets

Chromebook Requests:

As part of our Remote Learning toolkit, we need to ensure that pupils have good access to online learning to support their teaching and learning via a device they can use for the schoolwork being set on Google Classroom.  If you now find that your child would benefit from having a Chromebook at home, please apply for one here:   https://forms.gle/iKFtxMJoywwv67fP6

YOU ONLY NEED TO COMPLETE THE FORM IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BORROW A CHROME BOOK

Google Meet update:

As you are aware, we are setting up group sessions through Google Meet.  These are still accessed via your child’s Google Classroom and teachers will update the year group's Online Learning Classroom with the date of their next Meet. It is important that you and your child follow the attached guidelines for Google Meet and we recommend that there is an adult in the room for the first couple of times your child logs on.  The "Meet Link" will appear on their Google Meet Classroom page just before the session starts. Clicking this link will take them to the correct Meet.  Children should NOT join a Meet using the "Class Code" at the top of the Classroom. If you have any issues, please post a message on the Classroom, as the second adult will be looking out for these.

Google Meet Consent (required):

Can you please complete this Google form to give consent for your child to take part in these sessions:  https://forms.gle/arzCJtiq7ar953zF9  This is important to do and will only take a few minutes to complete.  Finally, the Children’s Privacy Notice has also been updated to include the video recording of lessons and this can be found on the school website under About Us/Policies/Data Protection Policy and Privacy Notices
