The Dodah Family's Annual Charity Race for Great Ormond Street Hospital 2021

On Sunday October 17th 2021, the Dodah family took part in their 12th consecutive 'Race for the Kids' to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Ex-pupil Mela, who is now in Year 7 at High School, was diagnosed, at birth, with a rare illness called Apert Syndrome and has been under the medical care of GOSH since she was born.

Joined my Mum, Dad, sister Esmee in Year 5 Maple class and Amelie in Year 3 Elm class, and other family and friends, the team together raised over £2,600, making a total of just over £12,000 over the last 12 years.

Mum Paula said, "It’s our family and friend's yearly event to show our gratitude and to raise awareness for a such an amazing place; filled with hero’s helping children to fight fit everyday”.

Here at RHJ, we are always so excited to hear about this event every year from the Dodah family.  A massive well done to them all.
