The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers (DfE). The government believes that schools are best placed to access the additional needs of each pupil and therefore the funding has been given to schools directly to spend.
Please read the information below which gives details of how we use our Pupil Premium Grant and the outcomes we have achieved.
Free school meals are available to some children according to the family income. It’s important to register for entitlement to free school meals, even if your child has a packed lunch – this is so we can receive additional funding called the pupil premium which we can use to help your child.
For more information and to see whether you are eligible please visit the London Borough of Sutton Free School Meals webpage and apply online.
Alternatively you can ask the School Office to check whether you are eligible using the LGFL website on your behalf. If you think you may be eligible please visit or email the school office with your own National Insurance (or NASS) number, your own date of birth and your full name so we can carry out the check for you.
