Phonics
Although many of our children have mastered phonics before starting in Y3, the school uses Little Wandle Letter and Sounds to support those children still requiring further practice.
Reading Comprehension Resources
Below are two resources that pupils use in class to develop their understanding of what they read. The Reciprocal Reading Prompts take pupils through the four key skills they should apply when they are reading. The Reading Domain Ladders support pupils to answer comprehension questions.
