Young Voices Concert at the O2
Fri 09 Feb 2024This year some of our Year 5 & 6 choir joined thousands of other school children at the O2 arena to form the wonderful Young Voices choir. Professional performers and musicians such as Jazz singer Natalie Williams, the legendary Urban Strides dancers and teacher turned rap artiste MC Grammar were part of the show. It was a fantastic opportunity to sing songs and explore music from different cultures and genres and there was an amazing performance from the 13-year-old drummer, Nandi Bushell.
Laasya, Palm: Young Voices was spectacular. Numerous choirs sang with us. This truly was a massed collaboration from different schools. Young Voices has been a life changing experience and I can't wait to participate next year.
Dylan, Larch: It was so much fun singing in the O2 and a fun, enjoyable moment that I will definitely remember. I loved seeing all the other people on stage perform. The girl on the drums [Nandi Bushell] was amazing!

Sunday
Mon 22 May 2023It’s been a successful day of water craft crafting and (very nearly almost road-worthy) buggy building, as well as excellent teamwork on the challenge obstacle courses, orienteering and Jacob’s ladder ascension. The children (though looking pretty tired) really put in the energy to get the most out of their last full day of activities.

Sun 21 May 2023Everyone was a bit tired today but overall it went smoothly and we had another great day! It has been lovely seeing them being kind to each other. The group leader told them they were the best group at clearing up after meals and politest group he had had.
